Usually referred to as an ancient grain, quinoa is actually a seed with unique properties. Quinoa has a mild flavour with nutty undertones and a fluffy, yet slightly crunchy, texture. With an ability to blend with the flavour profile of any dish, quinoa has endless uses. Quinoa works as a side dish or a main dish. Try using our Avafina Organic White Quinoa for salads or as an alternative to rice or pasta.

Cooking Instructions: Put Avafina Organic White Quinoa into a pan. Use 2 cups of water for every cup of quinoa. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed. Fluff quinoa with a fork and serve.
